This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
When you try to import certain Site Deployment Object (SDO) package files in Microsoft Content Management Server (MCMS) 2002 Service Pack 2 (SP2), the import process may fail. Then, the import process may succeed on the second attempt. However, the import process may fail again on the third attempt.
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Content Management Server 2002 service pack that contains this hotfix.
