When you create a relationship between two categories in Microsoft Commerce Server 2002, the relationship is not exported in the incremental mode. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
| One of the categories has a relationship to another category that has a smaller object identifier (also known as OID). |
| The category that has the smaller object identifier was not modified on the start date of the incremental export. |
For example, consider the following scenario. You have five categories. The object identifiers of these categories are as follows:
On the first day, you create a relationship between the oid3 category and the oid2 category. On the second day, you create a new relationship between the oid3 category and the oid5 category. In this scenario, the new relationship is not exported in the incremental mode in the XML file.
