Consider the following scenario:
| You install Windows Internet Explorer 7 on a computer. |
| Then you install another application on the computer. |
| The Setup program for the second application sets the RunOnceEx registry key to run a configuration program the next time that the computer starts. |
In this scenario, the configuration program for the second application does not run when you restart the computer. Additionally, the RunOnceEx registry key is cleared.
When a computer has Internet Explorer 7 installed, Iernonce.dll does not process the RunOnceEx registry key.
