Error message when you try to log on to Project Web Access 2003: Microsoft Jscript runtime error '800a138f' 'this.oResMgr' is null or not an object /ProjectServer/Library/LocalizedString.asp, line 44


When you try to log on to Microsoft Office Project Web Access 2003, you receive the following error message:
Microsoft Jscript runtime error '800a138f' 'this.oResMgr' is null or not an object /ProjectServer/Library/LocalizedString.asp, line 44

CAUSE

This issue may occur because of the permissions settings on the Microsoft Office Project Server 2003 installation folder.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, add the Users group to the Project Server installation folder. Then, grant sufficient permissions to the Users group. To do this, follow these steps:
1.Right-click the Project Server installation folder, and then click Properties.

Note By default, the Project Server installation folder is in the following location:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Project Server 2003
2.On the Security tab, click Add, type Users in the Enter the object names to select box, and then click Check Names.
3.Select the Users group, and then verify that the Allow check box is selected for the following permissions:
Read & Execute
List Folder Contents
Read
4.Click OK three times.
