When you try to run Microsoft Zoo Tycoon 2 for the first time after you complete the installation of the game, you receive the following error message:
A required.DLL file, snmpapi.dll, was not found.
To resolve this issue, copy the Snmpapi.dll file from the
Drive:\Windows\Servicepackfiles\I386 folder to the
Drive:\Windows folder. To do this, follow these steps:
| 1. | Click Start, and then click Search. |
| 2. | In the Search Companion dialog box, click All files and folders. |
| 3. | In the All or part of the file name box, type snmpapi.dll. |
| 4. | In the Look in box, click My Documents, and then click Search. The search results show the Snmpapi.dll file in two locations on the computer.
Note In most scenarios, the Windows operating system is installed in the C:\Windows folder. If you installed the Windows operating system on a drive other than the C drive, the drive letter will be changed accordingly in the search results. |
| 5. | In the right pane, locate and then click the search result entry that has the following folder location:
Drive:\Windows\Servicepackfiles\I386 |
| 6. | Right-click Snmpapi.dll, and then click Copy.

| 7. | Open Microsoft Windows Explorer, and then locate the Drive:\Windows folder.
|
| 8. | Right-click WINDOWS at the top of the left pane, and then click Paste. |
| 9. | Run Zoo Tycoon 2. |
